Film Europe is dynamic full service media company with a rich history. Our offices are located in Prague, Budapest, Bratislava and newly established representations in London and Cannes. We specialise in financing, development and production, distribution, sales and publishing, consulting and broadcasting of European films.
Currently Film Europe broadcasts regional cable and satellite pay TV channels:
Kino CS, Doku CS and Muzika CS. In november 2012 the Film Europe Media Company started regular broadcasting of the first European film channel, Film Europe Channel. It is the first paid television channel presenting exclusively European cinema from almost all 50 countries in greater Europe.
Film Europe offers business partnerships to European Producers, Distributers,
Content Providers and Festivals. We co-operate with European, Asian-Pacific and world television broadcasters. Including cable, satellite, IPTV and new media operators and distributors.
IVAN HRONEC
Ivan Hronec was programme consultant and project coordinator for Central Media Enterprises in London, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana and Bucharest. He is co-founder of SPI International Central Europe, a leading film distribution company.
He founded the FilmBox film television group, operating the first full HD film channel in Central and Eastern Europe – FilmBox HD. Since 1991 Ivan Hronec teaches management, communication and new media at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He regularly gives lectures at various media conferences and seminars around Europe and the world.
In 2008 Ivan Hronec began co-producing Central European film projects. Since 2009 he is CEO of his own media company Film Europe that also distributes European films. The company operates theme cable and satellite TV channels Kino CS, Doku CS and Muzika CS and is about to launch Film Europe Channel – the first TV channel for European film production.
